Are you a foosball enthusiast looking for an extremely durable yet elegant-looking foosball table? If yes, then this is the perfect table for you!
A few weeks ago I was planning to buy a foosball table as a gift to my teenage son for his birthday, my husband and I came across this table and its chic, elegant look instantly caught our eyes.
When we did a little more digging, we were convinced by the features mentioned and the reviews to buy it. And I have to say it has been a favorite ever since. The MDF cabinet is thick and made with particleboard which hasn’t chipped so far at all.
The table is very sturdy despite weighing so less which came as a little bit of a surprise to me. The sickle-shaped legs are something I’ve never seen in a foosball table and it did not fail to fascinate me, it is a pretty creative choice made by the craftsmen.
Although, the sickle shape doesn’t sacrifice gameplay by making the table wobbly. The 2” leg levelers make playing on an uneven surface a breeze. The ¼” playing field is quite glossy which complements the chic black of our table.
It arrives with 13 blue and 13 red uniformed men/players, I haven’t had a problem with any of the players breaking off yet but if I do I know I can always contact KICK to get a replacement as their products have a lifetime warranty on new tables purchased from them.
You can alternate between a one-man goalie system or a three-man goalie system, I think this is a great feature as everyone has different preferences. The ball returns at each end of the table are pretty convenient and they fit adult hands easily.
The slide scoring mounted at each corner of the table makes keeping the score straightforward and hassle-free. The semi-solid steel rods are chrome plated and won’t rust, I have however had a little problem with them which I will talk about later in the article.
The assembly requires two adults and a fair amount of time depending on how handy you are.

Let us take a deeper dive into the PROS and CONS of our durable foosball table.
1. Durable MDF cabinet:
Our foosball table’s cabinet is made with high-quality MDF particleboard that won’t chip or warp easily. The beautiful black makes it very stylish and it blends in well with my furniture.
As I mentioned above I was very surprised when I realized that the table only weighed 21 kilos as it doesn’t wobble at all even during competitive-level matches.
2. Sturdy legs with levelers:
The legs are made with the same material as the cabinet and therefore we won’t have to worry about chipping again. The sickle shape is a cool design and keeps the table from flipping over.
The 2” levelers on the legs are pretty useful as they make playing on an uneven surface a breeze. One thing I would’ve preferred was foldable legs as it would have made carrying the table through narrow doorways much easier and quicker.
3. Scorekeeping sliders:
Almost everyone who plays foosball would agree with me when I say that having to jot down the score after every single score is a little annoying and interrupts the flow of the game.
Well, that won’t be a problem with our foosball tables as its scorekeeping sliders on each side of the table make keeping score straightforward and convenient.
If you want to check out other tables that have a similar scoring method I would recommend the KICK Legend 55” inch or the Kettler Weatherproof Indoor/Outdoor Foosball Tables.
4. Easy-grip wooden handles:
Sweaty palms mid-match has always been a huge issue for me when playing foosball for hours on end. Thankfully for me, this table’s wooden handles solve that issue by reducing perspiration by a lot.
The handles also provide us with a comfortable grip which puts very little stress on our wrists. My wrists don’t cramp or get sore as much since I’ve started playing on this table.
5. Attention to detail:
This product is the foosball table version of “beauty with brains” only instead of brains it is practicality. The playfield mimics a foosball ground perfectly, the blue and red players are unbreakable and they also look pretty realistic.
The net style gaols are something that I’ve never seen in any sort of foosball table and I think it is a pretty cool creative choice as it provides us with an immersive gameplay experience. Overall, I am very impressed with the craftsmanship of our table.
Also, the fact that you can alternate between a one-man goalie and a three-man goalie is great as my husband and I prefer playing with a one-man goalie while my son and his friends prefer the three-man goalie system. I believe that most tables should have this feature.
We have talked about most of the PROS of our table, now let’s talk about the CONS you may face. The semi-solid steel rods are anti-rust which is great but they might bend.
After a few intense matches on our table, a few of the rods bent which didn’t hinder gameplay that much but was a little bit of a disappointment. But later that week when we contacted the manufacturer and told them our issue, we got a free replacement for our rods!
One more issue that we faced was the holes on the rods wouldn’t accommodate the bolts provided, we didn’t want to bother the company for something so minor so we went out and got some smaller bolts for cheap and it worked.
Assembly is pretty simple but it isn’t easy. You need two adults who have some basic knowledge of tools because you need to drill a lot of holes and screw in a lot of screws. It took me and my husband around 3 hours to put together.
But all the time we put into it was totally worth it in the end.

Would I recommend the KICK Liberty 48” Black Foosball Table:
I am a big foosball enthusiast and have owned a lot of tournament-style tables in the past, this is a mid-size table but still, it stands out to me due to its beautiful construction, convenient grip, sturdy legs, durable cabinets, etc.
The table isn’t super costly and my family and I use it every day. I believe that it has value for money and I would recommend it to everyone.
